Driving Towards the Future with LIFT
Supporting Rangatahi to Take Control of Their Journey
Getting your driver licence isn’t just about learning how to drive. For many rangatahi, it’s a turning point — opening doors to employment, education, independence and greater confidence in everyday life.
At LIFT, we understand how powerful that step can be. That’s why we’re proud to support rangatahi across Hawke’s Bay with driver training that’s practical, encouraging and tailored to where each learner is at on their journey.
Support at Every Stage: Whether someone is working towards their learner’s, restricted, or full licence, LIFT offers training designed to meet individual needs. We know that no two learners are the same, so our approach is flexible, patient and focused on building real-world skills — not just passing a test.
Our experienced instructor G is at the heart of what we do. Known for creating a calm, supportive learning environment, G helps learners feel comfortable behind the wheel while developing safe driving habits and confidence that lasts well beyond test day. Lessons are hands-on, practical, and empowering, helping rangatahi believe in their abilities as drivers and as individuals.
More Than a Licence: A driver licence is more than a card in your wallet. It’s the freedom to get to work, attend study or training, support whānau and take control of your own schedule. It represents independence, opportunity and the ability to shape your own future.
At LIFT, we see driver training as an investment in young people — helping them remove barriers, build confidence and move forward with purpose.
Ready to Take the Next Step? If you or someone you support is ready to get behind the wheel, LIFT is here to help every step of the way. Together, we’ll build the skills, confidence and independence needed to drive towards a brighter future.
Let’s make it happen together.
We have a recent school leaver that has left with no licence, and is not working and therefore not able to pay for this and/or driving lessons once on his learners. He is hoping to go to EIT in July for an Animal Care course.
Would he be able to get support with yourselves for his licence please?
Hi Helen,
We would love to help, sounds like he has a great career path ahead of him. If you would like to contact us at: admin@liftsocial.nz we can arrange a time to meet and discuss his needs.
